Neon is officially back! This was Kim Jones’ last fashion show as creative director of Louis Vuitton menswear, and the inspiration for it was traveling. The prints used on the different pieces of the collection were inspired by landscapes seen during one of his helicopter flights across Kenya. Also the technical details applied on the ready-to-wear runway looks remind us of the world of climbing. And of course the signature LV Monogram could not be missing, neither could supermodels Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, who walked down the catwalk as part of the finale. But the best thing about the new collection is that neon is back! The designer created several neon yellow and neon orange sweaters, and also used neon colors for details and accessories. And I couldn’t be any happier about it! Can’t wait for the trend to pop up in street style! Do you guys love neons as much as I do…? 🙂
