In case you might be wondering why I like analyzing the latest designer collections from every Fashion Week as well as what the fashion crowd wears outside the catwalk shows……well here’s the answer….! 🙂 While the stuff we see walking down the runways indicates what will be hitting the stores next fall, street style looks reveal everything about ‘here and now’.
In my previous post I covered my favorite runway shows from New York, London, Milan, and Paris Fashion Week, so now it’s time to have a look at what the streets have got to offer. One trend definitely seems to be very strong, and that’s statement tops, more precisely shirts, jackets, and all kinds of accessories with a huge brand logo, or even ones that send a message – let this be in support of love, acceptance, human rights, or any other similar topics. And then there’s statement sleeves of course, and lots of layers and all sorts of hybrid pieces stitched together into one. And even though menswear inspired shirts and blazers are still very impactful, colors seem to be appearing everywhere…! Hello Spring! Let’s have a look! 🙂
