World famous Ukranian ballet dancer Sergei Polunin joins the modeling world as part of Balmain’s Fall/Winter 2018 campaign. The fashion ads feature images shot by photographer An Le, and also a fashion video called The Balmain Beat starring Sergei.
Polunin’s campaign with Balmain is actually the second collaboration between the French fashion house and the ballet. Last summer, creative director Olivier Rousteing designed the ballet costumes for choreographer Sébastien Bertaud’s piece for The Paris Opéra Ballet, Renaissance.
But let’s have a look at the campaign! Also joining the Balmain Army this year were singer James Bay and model Gabriel-Kane Day-Lewis, wearing the brand’s signature embellished and sequined jackets from the new collection.
Well, clothes on or off, Sergei’s always a pleasure to watch, right…? 😉
