Masculine elegance. That’s probably how it could be summarized. Ok, we did see some glittery gowns and a couple of feminine silhouettes, but it seems that menswear-inspired womenswear dominated the runways at New York Fashion Week for the Fall/Winter 2016 season last week. Suits and ties, double-breasted coats and waistcoats, military inspired looks and sailor uniforms rocked the catwalks in the American capital of fashion, which was the first stop of fashion month. Here are some of my favorite androgynous looks from: Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Proenza Schouler, Ralph Lauren, and Tommy Hilfiger.
