When I found out that H&M and Bloglovin’ have partnered to find the “Breakthrough Fashion Blogger of the Year” I started thinking: sooo what do you have to do to win such a competition….? Style the best outfit in the world? Well that sounds kind of impossible. So I gave up on that quite quickly. Instead, I decided to keep it simple and create an easy, relaxed, everyday look, in my own style.
I wore a white ruffled button-down shirt with a pair of cropped boyfriend jeans and pointed toe sandals. Because I like layering, and also to bring a bit of color into the ensemble, I added a khaki patch parka coat on top. The accessories I chose to finalize the outfit were a black cross-body lip bag and a black hat. I like the idea of a ruffled high collar, it reminds me of 16th century fashion, giving the look a bit of an aristocratic vibe, and creating a cool contrast with the ripped jeans and the military style jacket.
