Thanks to Instagram, street style has become a real new industry. While originally, fashion trends were born on the runways, nowadays it’s the street style scene, with characters like celebrities, fashion editors, top models and influencers, that dictates what we’ll be wearing next season. Perhaps because this is where you can actually see the latest designer or fast fashion pieces in a more practical and realistic everyday setting. Furthermore, street style even enables you to combine the two into the same outfit. Street style photographers capture these moments, offering us the opportunity to be inspired on a daily basis.
But let’s also have a look at Hungarian street style! In 2016, instyle.hu discovered some candid pictures taken by WWD photographer, Kirsten Kortebein on the streets of Budapest. “Budapest locals and visitors welcomed the first stretch of spring weather in the relaxed fashion that rules the laid-back Hungarian capital. Throughout the hip Districts VII and VIII, they pulled out lighter jackets and short coats to wear over neutral staples, accented with bright shoes and big scarves, plus the occasional patterned blouse or leggings.” And we’ve become even better since then…! 😉 Check out the street style pics here!
