Milan Fashion Week wraped up this week and while the fashion industry packs up to head to Paris, let’s see what this year’s shows had to bring in terms of trends!
White on white is a major favourite for next season for almost all designers. This is no surprise when it comes to spring/summer. On the Blumarine and Alberta Ferretti runways romantic sheer fabrics appear, decorated with demure floral embroideries. And last, but not least, color blocks are back! On the Dsquared catwalk, blocks of color were big, bright and bold. A more reserved and solid version of the trend appeared at Jil Sander where classic earthy color blocks ruled the runway.
