Paris. The Balmain catwalk was a tropical rainforest perfectly in sync with the earth colors of the collection – very specific shades of brown, copper, khaki, tan, gold and silver. This year we saw softer fabrics than what we’re used to from the fashion house, lots of chiffons and silks, but this doesn’t mean that their epic waist-centric silhouette has been forgotten…..on the contrary!
Milan. Island life Italian style. This season Dolce & Gabbana was inspired by the Italian islands of Ischia, Pantelleria, Capri, and Sicily. And the collection was authentically Italian, fab and glamorous as always.
London. The place where Greek history meets contemporary fashion, thanks to Mary Katrantzou. Bold prints, hourglass silhouettes, clashing vibrant colours and peplums. A bit like a Vasarely exhibition to my eyes.
